Middletown Paranormal Investigations was created almost three years ago. This two-member team started with a curiosity about the afterlife and the stories of the past that could be told by those who came before us.
Ronnie is a native of the Shenandoah Valley. Growing up, his grandparents ran a funeral parlor out of their home and owned a horse drawn hearse. Ronnie’s the tech guy of the operation. He’s always getting ideas and searching for equipment to use on investigations that can allow communication with the spirits.
Shayla grew up in Arlington, VA just outside of our nation’s capital Washington DC. After completing college, she moved to the Shenandoah Valley. She is the creative one of the group. She is always trying new ways to speak to spirits and has just started creating videos for their YouTube channel. Shayla has been told by several people that she has spiritual gifts and has been known to be able to ‘tune in’ to the feelings for the spirits who inhabit a location. She has been known to dream about spirits at a location prior to investigating.
Ronnie and Shayla have had the privilege to collaborate and learn from many teams all over the Commonwealth of Virginia and North Carolina. They have been to several locations in many states and continue to look towards the west to visit. They have attended several paracons; listening to speakers to learn all they can about the paranormal. Both Ronnie and Shayla have a passion for history and seek out historical locations to both support the locations and learn the stories of those who crossed over but still call these locations home.
