With over three decades of experience, Lynde Kaufman has become a distinguished figure in sales to chefs and restaurants, particularly noted for her current leadership at the Sunrise Produce Company following an impressive tenure of 25 years at Worldwide Produce. In recent years, Lynde's tenacity led her to found K Girls Kitchen, a woman-owned bakery renowned for its artisanal loaves which she has created with her daughters Chloe and Hayley. Together, the “K Girls” entered their loaves in the LA County Fair baking competition and won first place and took home the coveted Blue Ribbon! They always knew they had something special, but this was the validation they needed. That is when K Girls Kitchen was born. Soon after, Lynde and her daughters had the chance to pitch their product to Gelson’s Markets. “Without commercial packaging ready, I pitched, and they loved it. They have taken every flavor since,” Lynde says. Under Lynde's stewardship, K Girls Kitchen has flourished among fans. While the company has e-commerce customers around the country, their loaves are also available through their distribution partners US Foods, and KeHE in upscale food stores including Gelson’s, AJ’s Fine Food Vintage Grocers, Monsieur Marcel, and the Topanga General Store. K Girls’ commitment to excellence extends beyond the kitchen, as evidenced by Lynde’s affiliations with WBENC, the Specialty Food Association, and the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association.
