The 1985 NBA draft class was undoubtedly loaded with some talent and future H.O.F. players and yet after it's all been played out you wonder how did certain players get drafted where they were. I saw Xavier McDaniel dominate Benoit Benjamin in college yet Benjamin gets drafted 3rd one spot above McDaniel. Or how about Patrick Ewing only plays 50 games his rookie season yet wins R.O.Y. award when maybe it should have came down to Xavier McDaniel or maybe Wayman Tisdale who had more body of work there rookie seasons. But a lot of interesting names in this draft. "Free" Charles Oakley, at 9 Chris Mullin who was drafted by GSW or Karl Malone going 13 to Utah Jazz. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/anthony-smith34/support
