Episode 55: Harold Shipman.
Harold Frederick Shipman was a British general practitioner and serial killer who is thought to have
murdered over 250 of his patients between 1975 and 1998. He was convicted of 15 murders in 2000
and sentenced to life imprisonment with a whole life order. Shipman hanged himself in his prison cell
on January 13, 2004, aged 57.
