The Stoneman of Mumbai was a serial killer who murdered at least 23 people in Mumbai, India, between 1985 and 1988. The killer's victims were primarily homeless men who were sleeping on the streets. The Stoneman would bludgeon his victims to death with a heavy stone, often crushing their skulls. The murders caused widespread panic in Mumbai, and the police were unable to apprehend the killer for several years.
