Mikhail Novosyolov was a Soviet-Tajik serial killer and necrophile who murdered at least 22 people between 1991 and 1995. He was known for his brutal and sadistic attacks, and he often mutilated and cannibalized his victims. Novosyolov was eventually caught and sentenced to death, but he died in prison in 2006 before his execution could be carried out.
