Segment 2: Amber Banda interviews Daniely Gutierrez, Family Community Engagement & Mental Health Specialist, Special Education Department, for ESC19. ESC19 is 1 of 20 education service centers for Region 19, helping to improve educational outcomes for children in our city. Amber and Daniely talk about what exactly is Region 19, how can parents and educators contact and take advantage of their help, and the role parents and teachers play in student success, and clarify some terminology to help the community better understand what Region 19 does for the community.

Region 19 is having their 3rd Annual Health & Career Fair August 6th from 9am-2:30pm at the Head Start Multi-Purpose Center (11670 Chito Samaniego on the eastside). There will be various agencies available to promote healthy living, personal empowerment, health screenings, sports physicals, hands-on activties, employment help, and if you have a child with special needs, there will be people there available to answer your questions!
