Zohran Mamdani's victory in the 2024 New York City Mayoral Election was not at all a shocker to anyone who has paid attention to the race, and felt like a formality ever since he beat Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic primary this summer.
So many pundits think that's the end of New York City as we know it but really, I think we'll be fine as a city. This may be the start of rough times depending on how Zohran's tenure as Mayor goes, but I've had hope that whoever becomes the new Mayor will do what is best for all New Yorkers. Whether it was Zohran, Cuomo, or Curtis.
I hope I'm proven right on that, as that's what I hope to bring to you all today. Also featuring some Jets news as the NFL Trade Deadline coincided with Election Day!
