John Steinbeck (1902-1968) fue Premio Nobel de Literatura en 1962. Es el autor de "Las uvas de la ira", "La perla" o "Al este del edén". Publicó "De retaones y hombres" en 1937 y habla de los trabajadores en la gran depresión americana.
