The purpose of Nash's slasher showcase is to have a bloody good time, not to ponder too much. When talking about someone's work, naming other titles can occasionally be a crutch In a Violent Nature on Soap2Day Watch Movies, but in this instance, it makes a lot of sense because "Nature" is unashamedly riffing on horror classics, primarily the "Friday the 13th" series, which is the most obvious connection to the plot and characters of the movie. Thankfully, this doesn't turn into a clumsy comparison because Nash and company manage to fit inside this framework by using slow motion, a score-free soundtrack, and cautious yet thoughtful cinematography to convey the ensuing terror.
