I have witnessed the uncertainty that comes with making major decisions, especially when it involves a child with special needs. I believe that "Ezra" captures a truthful essence reflecting a common dynamic in households worldwide. However, the excessive contrivance surrounding it is unnecessary. Despite this, there are touching moments in "Ezra" that I appreciated, such as Byrne calming Max by touching his ear. I wished that Goldwyn's film focused more on these heartfelt moments rather than a silly plot about reaching Los Angeles for a talk show, which leads to appearances by Rainn Wilson and Vera Farmiga.
