Salem's Lot, directed by Gary Dauberman, offers a fresh film adaptation of Stephen King's renowned vampire novel from 1975. The source material, which explores the evil forces endangering a little Maine town, has been adapted for the big and small screen numerous times over the years, most famously in Tobe Hooper's critically acclaimed 1979 TV miniseries on Soap2Day Movies Free. Known for his work on scary movies such as Annabelle and It, Dauberman seeks to strike a balance between staying true to King's terrifying story and providing current audiences with satisfying scares. Ben Mears upon his return to Jerusalem's Lot, the place of his childhood. Richard Straker and Kurt Barlow, the owners of an antique business, get there at the same time as odd things start happening. Ben and others start to suspect that there is an undead infestation in the community when residents start to vanish.
