Pb: O ar estava pesado no pronto socorro do hospital central do Rio de Janeiro.
En: The air was heavy in the emergency room of Hospital Central do Rio de Janeiro.
Pb: As paredes brancas e frias contrastavam com a agitação colorida do lado de fora.
En: The cold, white walls contrasted with the colorful hustle outside.
Pb: O Carnaval invadia o hospital através das janelas abertas: sons de samba e risadas ecoavam enquanto foliÔes passavam com fantasias brilhantes.
En: Carnaval invaded the hospital through the open windows: sounds of samba and laughter echoed as revelers passed by in bright costumes.
Pb: Dentro do hospital, o ambiente estava tenso e cheio.
En: Inside the hospital, the atmosphere was tense and crowded.
