Pb: O hospital estava em puro alvoroço.
En: The hospital was in pure turmoil.
Pb: A sala de espera parecia uma extensão do Carnaval no Rio de Janeiro.
En: The waiting room seemed like an extension of Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro.
Pb: Pacientes usando roupas coloridas entravam e saíam, alguns ainda com glitter no rosto, lembranças dos bloquinhos da noite anterior.
En: Patients wearing colorful clothes came in and out, some still with glitter on their faces, memories of the bloquinhos from the night before.
Pb: As cortinas tinham detalhes de serpentinas, e o som distante de samba ecoava das ruas próximas.
En: The curtains had details of streamers, and the distant sound of samba echoed from the nearby streets.
Pb: Cecília, uma escritora estressada, entrou na sala olhando ao redor.
En: Cecília, a stressed writer, entered the room looking around.

Pb: Lúcio era um rapaz espirituoso, sempre disposto a uma boa piada.
