Description

Turning down the noise and getting beyond the images and narratives of Portland from the protest and violence, and getting to the information beyond with PDX locals Burt Likko & Tod Kelly. What is really happening on the ground in the city, how does Portland's history and laws affect the protests, and some blunt talk about the history of the city's issues with race and how the perception of Portland being a very progressive city isn't living up to the reality with some of it's own citizens. But it isn't all negative, as we also discuss the positives of PDX's culture scene, the beautiful landscape surrounding it, and just how close to Portlandia does Portland IRL really come.
