Description

I interviewed John, an electrician at Lupita Hotel in Abuja. He expressed frustration about the difficulties in obtaining oil products and the high prices, which affect him personally since he rarely uses oil and gas-powered products at home due to the high cost. The scarcity and high price of products have made life challenging. He mentioned that if he owned a company, he would continue to purchase this essential commodity to stay in business but would increase the price of his products to compensate.

Esther, a colleague of John's, shared similar concerns. As a vehicle owner, she plans to reduce expenses by parking her car and using public transportation. However, if she owned a company, she would go to great lengths to source the product, regardless of its location, to keep her business running. Ultimately, she would also increase the price of her products to keep up.
