Topic: ACTIVATING THE MIRACULOUS.
Memory Verse: "Pray without ceasing" - 1 Thessalonians 5: 17
Bible Text: Acts 12:5 NKJV
5. Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.
INSPIRATION: The miraculous doesn't just happen. It takes a trigger to activate it. But before the trigger is pulled, a lot of preparation needs to go into place. Read all the preparations that went into the building of the Ark of Covenant, the erection of the Temple and the sacrifice of Elijah on Mount Carmel points us to what it takes to operate in glory. If the proper foundation is not laid, your desire for the glory becomes a mirage.
We must understand that the preparation for our assignment is more important than the manifestation that is so often chased about today. If you manifest too soon without proper depth, knowledge, wisdom and direction, you'll waste quite early. Our bible text reads, "Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church" - Acts 12:5. This was where the miracle of Peter's deliverance from prison was birthed and activated.
Prayers are incubators that hatch miracles. They're catalysts that stir up heaven's positive reactions. Genuinely effectual prayers make tremendous power available. In the atmosphere of His power, anything is possible; angels are despatched with the urgency of lightning to carry out divine interventions. There's a protocol of the spirit that must be observed to activate power from on high. The moves of the Spirit are scarce where this protocol is absent.
TODAY'S TAKE HOME:
Prepare the altar of your heart and spirit daily to expect the miraculous. Pray fervently to generate and activate tremendous power for the moves of the Spirit. Stay sensitively alert to align when the move is activated.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, please deliver me from every scheme of hell or men to cut short my destiny; help me to always walk in miracles. May I not only see or hear testimonies of divine moves in other people but that I'll be a partaker of this grace this season, in Jesus name.
