Topic: ACTIVATING THE MIRACULOUS (Part 2)!
Memory Verse: "Pray without ceasing" - 1 Thessalonians 5: 17
Bible Text: Acts 12:5 NKJV
5. Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.
INSPIRATION: Miracles will always yield to atmospheric preparation and saturation. The kind of spiritual force in operation over an environment determines what happens within its spheres. If the environment is saturated with grace, grace and mercy will flow in abundance; if it is saturated with healing, diverse healing would occur; if it is saturated with deliverance, yokes would be broken; if saturated with favour, doors would open daily of their own accord; if it is saturated by demonic powers, oppressive occurrences would begin to manifest, etc. However, atmospheres are initiated and sustained by man.
The miraculous deliverance of Peter was triggered by the prayers of the church on his behalf. They had earlier witnessed the death of Apostle James in the hands of the authorities. They weren't going to allow Peter die. The church of today must take a cue from this and understand nothing happens unless we allow it. If the church had kept silent, Peter would have been killed. Angelic interventions happen where we commission them to stir up the waters for miracles to happen (John 5: 4, 7).
TODAY'S TAKE HOME:
Prepare the altar of your heart and spirit daily to expect the miraculous. Be the man that stimulates your angels to stir up the waters of miracles. Set your atmosphere yourself for your own miracle.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, please deliver me from every scheme of hell or men to cut short my destiny; help me to always walk in miracles. May I not only see or hear testimonies of divine moves in other people but make me a partaker of this grace this season, in Jesus name.
