Description

Apostle Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 9: 26, "Therefore I do not run uncertainly (without definite aim). I do not box like one beating the air and striking without an adversary," suggesting that there're rules of engagements and strategy to this fight. Know these rules, be strategic to win. Identify your enemy, study his (its) strengths and weaknesses and throw your punches to targets, not aimlessly.

The scriptures already identified the aim of the enemy: to steal, to kill, and to destroy (John 10: 10), and that he goes about seeking whom he may devour. It would be foolhardy therefore to be reckless when an enemy is trailing you. Apostle Peter tells us to, "Take a decisive stand against him and resist his every attack with strong,  vigorous faith" (1 Peter 5:9). Rigorous faith is a strategic weapon to adopt against the adversary.

Paul tells us further to, "Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil" (Eph 6:11). Don't be negligent or selective of the armoury to carry, else, you'd become a cheap casualty! The complete armoury was provided by God to protect you as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser! Therefore, know these armoury, get them, use them!
