Topic: BE THAT MAN (Part 2)!

Memory Verse: “And he said unto him, Behold now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is an honourable man; all that he saith cometh surely to pass: now let us go thither; peradventure he can shew us our way that we should go" - 1 Samuel 9:6 KJV

Bible Text: 2 Kings 5:3 KJV

3. And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.

INSPIRATION: A very remarkable feedback is shared in Mark 1: 37, "And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee." Nobody spends time to seek what is valueless. How people rate your value will determine who seeks after you. Had Jesus not offered value, it would have been needless for them to go looking for him. Should you find yourself in a place where it seem you're being neglected, do a self-appraisal if you're offering value.

The two prophets that the maid and servant referred their masters to had very distinct descriptions for adding value to people's lives. Don't think people are not noticing you. If you mess with your own opportunity, you may never get great referrals. Had those prophets been slothful in handling matters, who would have made such high profile recommendations to them? Chalatans do not attract nobility. Don't be a chalatan when you could be a renowned genius!

You can be that man anyone would be willing to stake their reputation on; the man whose words are his bond; the man who will not trade off excellence, personal development and the quest to make a life better for others for mediocrity. Societal decadence begun with someone; be the remedy it currently desperately deserve rather than contribute to making it more deplorable. When men seek you like they did Jesus, do not let them come back full of regrets. Be their lifeline.

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

You're someone else's solution, don't reduce yourself to their problem. You're their lifeline. Allow them take a chance on you lest they drown. Be a proactive answer!

PRAYER: O Lord, help me to see myself as the bridge that connects people to their destiny. Equip me to dispense this role in ways that enrich the lives of others. May my light shine through to brighten a dark and gloomy life until they can hold their own again. Give me grace to see myself in the light of all You created me to be and do to help humanity, in Jesus name, Amen!
