Topic: BE THE DIFFERENCE-MAKER!

Bible Text: Matthew 5:13 (MSG)
13. Let me tell you why you are here. You're here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You've lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage.
INSPIRATION: The scriptural verse often referred to as the "Golden Rule" sums up my thoughts for today, "In everything you do, be careful to treat others in the same way you’d want them to treat you, for that is the essence of all the teachings of the Law and the Prophets" (Matt. 7:12 TPT). A bleeding heart understands the rhythm of consolation; it longs for the soothing balm of compassion. You can never go wrong with being genuinely compassionate. Touch lives and leave a positive footprint!
I can be the bridge between the hurting and the relief they seek. You can be the light in their dark tunnel; the footprint to a secured destiny. I can be the lifebuoy to that drowning dream; the teacher through whom wisdom and direction flows. You can be the answer to someone's prayers, or a stumbling block for his downfall. We can be many things to different people across board, but we should never become anyone's nightmare!
TODAY'S TAKE HOME:
When men say, "There's a casting down," don't just say, "There's a lifting up" and walk away. But, try lift somebody up, where possible.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to be both salt and light to the world and a huge blessing to everyone I'm privileged to meet; teach me to serve my community with grace and to raise the hopes of others. I'm determined to positively spice up and light up their lives, and never to be a stumbling block to anyone, in Jesus name.
