Topic: BE THE DIFFERENCE-MAKER (Part 2)!

Bible Text: Matthew 5:13 (MSG)
13. Let me tell you why you are here. You're here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You've lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage.
INSPIRATION: Imagine with me for a moment how disappointing you'd feel to be so hungry and you visit your favourite restaurant to have your most favourite meal only to be served and it was cooked without salt! That's how some of us are: tasteless and bland. When you do not give off your true or right flavour and make others feel your taste, you're like a meal served without salt. Nobody want that kind of a meal unless for medical reasons. Be someone's salt-seasoning and bring out their God-flavor today.
On the flip side, imagine the number of people groping in the dark and falling into ditches because you refused to let your light shine! "For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light" (Ps. 36:9). This scripture was said of somebody. Can same be said of you? Who sees your light or comes into a discovery because of you? Is there someone who's walking into safety due to your light beamed in their way? Do people make positive references to you? Do they find directions when they follow you?
TODAY'S TAKE HOME:
Don't be part of any plot to cause another man's downfall. Your path maybe twice as slippery. Be a positive difference-maker! It has its own rewards.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to wear the hat of a salt-seasoning person who brings out God-flavours to mankind; may my life be characterised by the true light that lights up my world to the glory of Jesus Christ. Help me to be an example of the believer in words and action, and may all who encounter me get pointed to Jesus by the way I serve them, in Jesus name.
