Description

Some touches and losses leave permanent scars on its victims, and make some people so ashamed, unwanted and insecure. They rob victims of their joy and self-confidence, making some to live in self-imposed isolation. But scars are not to elicit such emotions. Scars doesn't just point to your survival instincts, but also to the faithfulness of God! They testify to the things you survived and overcame against all odds.

Scars are worth celebrating; they're future reminders of past victories, an assurance that if you weathered previous storms, you can survive the current vicious attacks of the enemy. David encouraged himself in the LORD, knowing that the same God who led him to previous victories will yet show up for him in this new one. As you bleed, do not forget the things you survived in the past.

If he did it before, he'll do it again. Have a positive outlook to your battles. Like David, settle it in your mind that you'll win again. Be your own self-motovator; boost your faith by basking in your previous victories; see the bigness of God as against the smallness of your battles. Shun every self-deprecation and the cynical voices of pessimists who think you can't win. Isolate yourself in thoughts from those who magnify a problem but can't see a solution.
