Topic: DIFFERENCE MAKER (Part 2)!
Memory Verse: "the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God" - Romans 8:19 KJV
Bible Text: John 3:8 KJV
8. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
INSPIRATION: The young David would get to the battle field to give his father's love and gifts to his elder brothers who had been enlisted into the nation's army. He finds Goliath, the giant, threatening the army of Israel and all of then running into hiding. But David had a different spirit! He wouldn't let his threats get to him. He stood up to the bully and got him killed.
We must never join the bandwagon of people who walk a path that's at variance with our belief. Single yourself out from the crowd. Dare to thread where others fear to. Be bold, determined and different. When you have a different spirit, you attract recognition and favours from high places, "But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it" (Num. 14:24).
Caleb stood out and his reward became transgenerational. You never can tell who's observing you and what decisions they make with you being different: "Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm" (Dan 6:3 KJV). We're in that generation where difference makers are widely sought after. You can be one!
TODAY'S TAKE HOME:
Being different requires unwavering faith and dogged confidence. It could win you some deep dislike but keep your eyes on prize. That's what really count.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, I refuse to allow my desire to conform ruin my chances of being different and making it count. I embrace every opportunity life throws at me to spin a miracle. I manifest gloriously because I'm born of the Spirit, in Jesus name.
