Topic: DREAM FERTILIZERS!

Memory Verse: ‭‭"‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more" - Genesis 37:5 KJV‬‬

Bible Text: ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭ ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Luke 1:41 KJV‬‬

41. And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:

INSPIRATION: Two significant scenarios played out with very different outcomes in our scriptures today that would help to drive home our thoughts. Joseph had a dream and told his brothers, and hatred followed. He dreams again and tells it in details to his brothers and parents and his father rebuked him (Gen. 37: 9-10). We must be careful not to share our dreams too prematurely; we must be careful whom we share our dreams with.

Not everyone can midwife your dream to maturity; not everyone can help interprete your dreams and give you the desired support to flourish. But these are the kind of persons you need; people who will pick your crude dreams, refine them and give you wings to fly. We need people who are not intimidated by our visions, people who are not abortionists to the great ideas we're daily inspired with. I'm talking about people who'll celebrate your baby steps and nurture your seed until it blossoms into a huge oak tree.

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭‭Whilst it's okay to desire people who are dream fertilisers, the biblical standards still remains, "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: ..." (Prov. 18:24a).

PRAYER: Dear Lord, please order my steps to align with people who would cherish my dreams and contribute towards my success. Deliver me from dream killers and destiny abortionists. Give me wisdom and a discerning heart to know those to share my dreams with and those to avoid. May I not be surrounded by wicked and unreasonable people (2 Thess. 3: 2), who pretend to love me but would rather see me fail than succeed, in Jesus name.
