Topic: DROP SOME STICKS (Part 2)!

Memory Verse: "Therefore he said, 'Pick it up for yourself.' So he reached out his hand and took it" -  Kings 6:7 NKJV

Bible Text: 2 Kings 6:5‭-‬6 NKJV

5. But as one was cutting down a tree, the iron ax head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Alas, master! For it was borrowed.”
6. So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float.

INSPIRATION: One thing we can never outwit God in, is the fact that He's the Master Architect, who always deal a masterstroke to bad situations in our lives. Over 400yrs of captivity ended on a great note for the Isrealites whom God rewarded with silver and gold of Egypt and ensured they didn't leave empty (Exo.12:35-36). The thing about sticks is that it is not what you manufacture on your own but God's idea, an inspiration or instruction from Him that changes the game in your favour. All the notable miracles from Moses's rod were at the instance of God!

God will give you an idea or inspiration that would swallow all the rods of magicians, part your red sea, bring water from your rock, and cause total recovery. When you trade in or drop His idea in your situation, it would cause your iron to float. Drop His idea like a stick and you'll never run out of supply of resources (2 Kgs. 4:1-7). When it is about deploying His idea, there's always a supernatural release of anointing that amplifies the results from your tiny efforts provided it was done in obedience. Hence, Elisha dropped ordinary sticks but the lost axe head came floating out. Hallelujah!

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

Never have a second thought when God inspires an idea or gives your a specific instruction about a cause of action to take. Drop the stick for a miracle awaits you!

PRAYER: O Lord, I decree that everything that represents a axehead in my life is  recovered as I follow Your leading and drop my sticks, in Jesus name.
