One very big contradiction of our time is to see people talk about the greatness of God without according him the honour due to his greatness. Another one, is to find people who talk about God's greatness live without appropriating the advantages of His greatness in their lives. We cannot talk about the many-sided wisdom of God in all its infinite variety and not bear reference to his greatness. He shows his greatness with the way he sets the world on it course through his wisdom that upholds all things by the word of his power.
It takes greatness to sustain the world; His greatness is our defense and shield; its the reason we've not be crushed; it's why we enjoy his endless mercies and get picked up when we stumble and fall. Greatness that defies scope, limits and boundaries. So great that he's both a lion and a lamb, so that he can be anything and everything to us based on our revelation of Him. So great, he sits in heaven and the earth is his footstool; so great, yet dwells within our hearts; so great that the author of wealth and riches; so great that the mountains do not collapse on us, nor the seas overflow us; so great that we cannot get to his end! Hallelujah!!
