Sometimes, we're caught up in a storm or pressured on every side to judge God as unfaithful to us when we think we've done nothing to deserve the kind of outcomes we have. All the pictures that get painted in our minds tend to magnify our pain and losses to make us question the place of God's mercies or the evidences of our faith and service to God. Can I announce to you that nothing you go through can make God any less sovereign the King that He is?
On the flip side, God remains ever faithful, absolutely dependable. His reliability can never be faulted. When you come to a full understanding of this sacred truth, you can beat your chest and say whatever you're dealing with will work together for your good. The premise to this confession lies in your ability to see and acknowledge the faithfulness of God even in the roughest storm. God is good, and His goodness isn't seasonal.
Reflecting on His goodness or faithfulness gives us the assurance that everything will work out for your good to bring glory to God, including that inexplicable challenge. The failures, bad reports, unfortunate news, etc, at the end, will work for our good because God will get the glory out of because it would end in praise. Darkness will give way to light, mourning to joy, weeping to dancing. God will pull a fast one on the enemy again, like He did with the resurrection of Jesus.
