Sometimes, life presents us with unpredictable outcomes that leave us worried, distraught and fearful. The fear of what to do to change the reality staring at us; the fear of uncertainties; fear of the unknown; fear induced by expert opinions and predictions. Our experiences too, lend to the fear and heightened worries. It is in the midst of such emotions that God says assuredly, "I will go before you and level the mountains to make the crooked places straight." In other words, the mountains and crooked places have nothing on you!
Allow the experts predict all they can, God says he'll level their mountainous opinions; he'll straighten out the difficulties that you can't understand or overcome and simplify them; he'll break in pieces your blocked access to opportunities, leaving the door wide open for you to walk in or through. Glory! As if these are not profound enough, he says he will go before you. When God goes ahead of you, mountains crumble, and skip like ram; floods roll back and dry up! Can I announce to you that God has gone ahead of you to fix things up so you don't have to sweat it? Hallelujah!
