Description

It was Job who eloquently posited that "Man who is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble" (Job 14: 1). Everyone of us might have experienced a significant measure of trouble or may be brewing in one right now. At times, we wake up to a fresh trouble each day that leaves us overwhelmed, drained and unhappy. Many have become so used to trouble that they anticipate one by default when it is yet to come.

Whilst this may be someone's reality, we must remind ourselves that God is faithful to us. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. It is God's faithfulness that makes our troubles light to bear. It is His faithfulness that makes us see rays of hope and brightness after a terrible experience with darkness. We may often not think He's faithful because how can a faithful God make us go through hell while He watches on but does nothing?

There're two very significant reasons for most of your troubles: firstly, each test is an opportunity to trust him more; secondly, along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously. He never ceases to make a way. Miraculous provisions, uncommon healings, divine intervention, inexplicable access, rare opportunities, unmerited favours, etc, are some of the things He uses to make a way and demonstrate His love. Don't you ever make the mistake to think it was your smartness or connection that did all of these!
