Description

Many people have never been able to come to terms with and move away from their mistakes. Mary Pickford has a message for those people, "If you have made mistakes, even serious ones, there is always another chance for you. What we call failure is not the falling down but the staying down." Choose not to live in perpetual guilt over your past mistakes and insensitive choices; choose not to play the victim card.

One way to deal with guilt is owning up to your flaws and errors. Masking them under would only fuel a re-occurrence of what triggered the guilt in the first instance. That in itself is a choice the guilty party must make. However, what we often see is judgmental reactions and attitude from ‘accountability partners’ who should have otherwise guided the wounded persons to wholeness. We must learn to stop robbing in people’s fault in their face, and shaming them in the process.
