Topic: IDENTITY AND BEHAVIOURAL ETIQUETTE!

Bible Text: Leviticus 18:2-3 NKJV
2. “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘I am the Lord your God.
3. According to the doings of the land of Egypt, where you dwelt, you shall not do; and according to the doings of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you, you shall not do; nor shall you walk in their ordinances.
INSPIRATION: Apostle Paul counsel, "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God" (Rom12:2). In other words, it is all about mindsets. There's a mindset that shapes the culture of Princes and Princesses. Being in proximity to the Palace may not necessarily place on you the burden or responsibility to behave as the nobles would.
There's a mindset that releases your wings to fly and there's one that traps you in mediocrity and obscurity. There's a mindsets that reveals your relevance quotient and prepares you for global prominence; it equips you to navigate in deep waters and deliver optimal value. There's a mindset that reveals the genius or exposes the villian in us. Champions have a winning mindset even before the battle is won that sets them on a winning course. There's the "I can do it" mindset that you need to possess (Phi. 4: 13).
God warns Israel not to behave like the Egyptians or copy the ways of Canaan. Avoid seemingly good ideas or formula that would be detrimental to your future. If He calls and commissions you on an assignment, He has a Unique Selling Point He wants you to have that bears no reference to your past experiences or your future experimentation. He wants to be the Source from which everything enaminates. Just trust the process to His charge and see how you'll turn out right.
TODAY'S TAKE HOME:
Being unique is not in your similarity but in your difference to others. God wants you to carry and project a unique quality that is deeply rooted in Him. Do not abort or bypass the process to His plans to making you evolve. Follow His blueprint and shape the culture of your social interactions with this mindset. That's your Unique Selling Point.
PRAYER: O Lord, .please help me not to jeopardise my future with baggages from my past; deliver me from following a path that will shortage me from evolving and enjoying the future you're calling me into, in Jesus name.
