Topic: LEAD WITH A PLAN.

Bible Text: Proverbs 19:21 GNT
21. People may plan all kinds of things, but the Lord's will is going to be done.
INSPIRATION: One thing common to the end of a year and the start of another is planning. Plans encapsulated in visions. Except you have a detailed plan, you might just be a fatal accident waiting to happen. A plan is not a wishful thought but a well structured framework of procedures, processes and methods to achieving your goals. In other words, it must be properly defined and written for you to be taken seriously.
Your plan must be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound. Its failure to meet any of these specifics has already punctured its entirety. Talking about realistic goals, don't gamble with your future doing trial and error projects if you don't want to reap the whirlwind. It is not every "feels good to do" project that you should invest time, energy and your resources into. Do due diligence but be truthful to yourself. Be sure what you want to do and determine your outcome before committing to any.
Guide and guard against internal leakages and self-sabotaging proclivities. Set a time frame to measure progress. Setup really authentic self-scrutiny mechanisms as well as yield yourself to responsible and respected accountability partners. Be wise with your investment plan. Planning and proper investments should be done with calculated risks. Do not allow emotions mislead you. Don't be goaded by greed or be inspired by insincere motivational talk. You'll fail woefully.
TODAY'S TAKE HOME:
Your plan is your ideal reality on paper. It should speak to you in ways that are so easily relatable. Don't go and clone another person's plan to run your life by. Draft yours and own it.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, I refuse to be in the boxing ring of life and fight like one that beats the air. Help me to plan my life with specific, realistic and achieveable goals that would make me get the right results, in Jesus name.
