Description

Drawing back casts either a shadow of doubt or fear for a journey. Life is meant to be progressively forward moving by design, and Jesus counsels us to first sit down to count the cost of any venture before we start (Luke 14: 28-32). It is therefore unwise to disembark a journey midway.

Drawing back as used in this context is not virtuous but a weakness. It portrays you as incapable of sound judgement and best decision. Weak people do not confront their fears; they run from battles that could have enthroned them. They take the easy way out without realising there're no easy way or shortcuts to destiny. Therefore, brace up to life and square up to your wars. Be strategically confrontational or be ready to ever forfeit the glories that await you on the flip side of every fierce battle.
