Sometimes, we may stay so long in a bad situation that it almost becomes normal. Your senses and faculties start to adjust to the new reality and condition you to accept what you should deal with and change. When life beats you to blend into a reality that isn't yours or meant to be, survival mode is activated just so you could get by. This is the reality of many today, with no hope in view for a possible change. Despair and resignation to fate has swept off every shade of optimism left in them.
Make no mistakes about it, it is a terrible thing to be in a state of gloom, especially, when you expect to bloom! In spite of this, God assures us of a turnaround. He says, "I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him" (Ezek. 21:27 KJV). God is about to turn your captivity in such a dramatic way! He will bring you back to a state of fame and praise (Zaph. 3:20), even though this may look like an unrealistic dream (Ps. 126:1). Get ready to be wowed!
