Fear has no place in the life of a believer because it is not a gift we received from God in our new status in Christ. Jesus has liberated us from the grip of fear, and if you've been set free, then you're free indeed! The bible bears a very overwhelming record of 365 times we're told, "Do not fear." By inference, one dosage per day to cover the entire year.
So, when next those scary pictures and thoughts are flashing through your mind, even in cases where the natural response is to fear, you should boldly declare like David, "I WILL FEAR NO EVIL." Don't just mouth it, say it out loud and confidently believing until it registers in your spirit, floods your heart with light and casts out the evil spirit of fear.
When life hits me on all sides, I'll not fear; when the doctor's report suggests fear, I'll not fear; when the economy is plummeting and expert's report suggest a further rise in inflation, I'll not fear; when all my best efforts yield negative results, I'll not fear; when I don't know what tomorrow brings and my night is ending so dark, I'll not fear! Come hell or high waters, I'll not fear. Let the devil get mad all he wants, I'll not fear! Glory to God!!
