Topic: PROTOCOL FOR GOD'S GLORY!
Memory Verse: "A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out" - Leviticus 6:13 NKJV
Bible Text: Leviticus 6:12 NKJV
12. And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings.
INSPIRATION: Everything in life that works has a trade secret. When you learn and master the secrets to any venture, you're on your way to becoming an exceptional authority in that field. In God's kingdom, divine secrets are the winning strategies and stability of the believers. Jesus told his disciples, "To you, it is given to know the secrets of the kingdom..." Whenever you take hold of a divine secret, you're well on your way to hitting a treasured goldmine that could serve your purposes for generations to come.
So we shall try today to unwrap a kingdom secret or protocol for us to flow in the anointing that enables us manifest glory. What is this secret? Moses writes: “A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out" (Leviticus 6:13). The fire on your altar is the catalyst or stimulant for the anointing. When your altar lacks fire, your head will lack the oil that breaks and destroys yokes. No matter what you do or go through, never allow your head to lack fresh oil.
Now, we do not mean that you should be rubbing oil on your head daily but that you should observe spiritually prescribed protocols that makes the anointing flow ceaselessly on you. You're to keep your altar on fire. "And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out..." (Lev. 6:12). This is a divine instruction, a trade secret, that must be kept if you want to amount to anything significant in life.
As the priest of your personal altar, the sole responsibility is on you to see to it that you "burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings" (Lev. 6:12). What this means in simple terms is that you must service your altar to keep it aflame!
TODAY'S TAKE HOME:
Set up an altar if you don't have one, or rebuild yours if it is already broken. Make a covenant with God on this altar and agree on how you'll be servicing it. Bring your "wood," "burnt offering," pour your "fat offering" to fuel the fire, and bring your "peace offering" daily to this altar.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to understand the significance of having fire burn on my altar, and set my life on fire for you once again. May I never lack the requisite fire on my altar that could deliver desirable benefits to me daily, in Jesus name.
