Description

Yesterday, we established that consistency breeds mastery. But then mastery shouldn't be your final destination; you must add excellence to your mastery for you to be able to exchange it as value or revenue. Excellence breeds desirability, expands your reach and gives unsolicited referrals. Excellence puts you in a separate class for patronage. Whilst our focus is not on monetization per se, when you stay consistent, there's no way you won't be rewarded, including financial reward.

You can't be consistent without becoming diligent. Diligence is a rare combination of carefulness and long-term effort, to get a desired outcome. The bible defines the expected outcome of a diligent person - he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before ordinary men (Prov. 22: 29). That is, diligence takes you out of obscurity to where you can't be held back by any force anymore. Diligence brings you before rich people who are rich in money, connections and ideas, etc.

Your ability to bring value, deliver solutions to people with high standing in society that the bible classified as kings positions you for uncommon rewards. But if you become weary and faint in the course of your journey from consistency to mastery and then to excellence, you'd miss the reward. Don't trivialise the warning signs when weariness begins to set in; don't focus on the rewards and miss the vital processes that guarantees and perpetuate the reward.
