Topic: SHOW UP PREPARED (Part 2)!

Bible Text: 1 Samuel 17:26 NKJV
26. Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”
INSPIRATION: Very few persons today have the kind of mental rectitude David had. Sent to take food to his elder brothers at the warfront and to report back to Dad how they fared would have been such a simple task for an underage boy. But he saw a rare opportunity to defend his people. His wasn't for showmanship but a testament to a prepared yet unknown or unlisted soldier equipped for battle. Showing up prepared is a mental state that is not occasion or time sensitive. It is an ever ready way of life!
Those who don't show up prepared miss lots of opportunities to be great. Unbeknownst to them promotions come with great problem-solving skills. Crowns won't go to charlatans where character-filled individuals exist. David got national recognition for his bravery. Your biggest breakthrough is tied to your most daring attempt to solve problems. Get dressed for work. You'll never know when a duty call pulls through!

Nothing stops or cripples a man like having crippled thoughts. Fix your eyes on the plough and seize your moments!
PRAYER: Dear Lord, help me to show up like David, equipped with enough fighting grace on my inside. Give me the ability to take daring initiatives at problem-solving and bring me into my place of resounding victory, in Jesus name.
