Topic: AUDACITY OF AN AGREEMENT!
Memory Verse: "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven" - Matthew 18:19 NKJV
Bible Text: Genesis 11:6 KJV
6. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
INSPIRATION: Permit me to interrogate the topic on agreement. The dictionary has many definitions for it, of which few are: an understanding between entities to follow a specific course of conduct; a legally binding contract enforceable in a court of law; a state whereby several parties share a view or opinion - the state of not contradicting one another, amongst many others. An agreement, whether written or verbal, is a commitment to some cause. It's terms are binding on all parties.
Many of us are so disagreeable, first, to self, and then to others. Hence, the many restrictions we face daily. In building the Tower of Babel, the people were one! What are you 'one' with today? Anywhere or when disagreement looms, the will to do is lost. Do you have the audacity to agree? Do you have the will to act on your goals, visions and proposals? Do you even agree to the terms stated in your goals, visions and proposals or they're mere academic exercises? The proof of passion is pursuit.
TODAY'S TAKE HOME:
Agreement breeds a force that compels results.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, please teach me to be analytical and decisive with agreements I go into. Help me to follow through on my bargains and may nothing restrict me from my goals, in Jesus name.
