Most times when we talk about grace, we limit it only to unmerited favours from God. If asked anything else we know about grace, we become lost for words. Grace brings us salvation and helps us become all God designed us for. Grace restores us to our original position of sonship and dominion with God. Grace is the answer to everything we do, have or become. Grace is the best prescription; the common denominator; the difference maker in our lives and walk with God.
Grace is revealed or better understood by divine encounters. There's an encounter with God that shallows up excuses, strips you of self, and promotes a burning hunger to be transformed into God's image. There's an encounter in your prayer closet that brings you to your knees, that kills something in you that doesn't glorify God. There's an encounter that sets your heart on fire. Kindle that fire on your altar today, because grace is abundantly supplied for you to do all things.
You are saved by grace, kept alive and sustained by grace, favoured by grace, etc. Nothing we do was ever done by ourselves , willpower and smartness. Knowing this should humble you to seek God's grace in all you do. The smart thing to do is to find ways to keep God's grace potently active and working for you. Avoid everything that could frustrate the operations of God's grace (Gal. 2: 21).
