Talking about the incredibility of God, have you ever wondered why He's so dependable even when we're not? He's ever faithful even in our unfaithfulness; He's reliable, even when we falter, oscillate, and vacillate. The guarantee of reliability on his part is so strong, you can trust and depend on him without any fear that he's going to disappoint. The old refrain, "If men were God," points eloquently to the fact that He's different from us and deals with us in his infinite mercy, contrary to what a man could possibly do if he were God!
Whilst men may develop trust issues for each other, never has it been said or heard that anyone had trust issues with God! I'm talking about the God who has not dealt with us according to our idiosyncrasies, and who has not regarded our inquities; I mean the God who forgives all our sins and draws us closer regardless of how far we've strayed from his love. I mean the God who knows the thoughts and intents of our hearts, yet still lavishes his love on us. Who can beat or compare to this God, who's self-existent, mighty, and highly lifted but chose to dwell within our hearts? How so incredible is he! Hallelujah!!
