Topic: THE MOVE OF GOD'S GLORY!
Memory Verse: "The Lord kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up" - 1 Samuel 2:6 NKJV
Bible Text: 1 Samuel 2:7-8 NKJV
7. The Lord makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up.
8. He raises the poor from the dust And lifts the beggar from the ash heap, To set them among princes And make them inherit the throne of glory. “For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, And He has set the world upon them.
INSPIRATION: One of the most dangerous and destructive things in Christianity is to experience one move of God and then limit the infinite God to that your only experience. Another is to condition your mind to feast on baseless assumptions that God cannot move in certain ways. Well, our text proves otherwise and shatters your walls of misinformed beliefs and assumptions. God still moves in terrible, mysterious ways, performing wonders as he goes. You'll experience the multi-sided moves of God's glory when you genuinely hunger for them and open up your mind and spirit to accommodate them.
We're referring to the God who reserves the exclusive rights to kill and to bring back to life and nobody can question his decision; the God who caused an old, dead rod carried by Aaron to start growing lives because it was brought into the presence of God! Now, do you still wonder why Sarah whose womb had long died (Rom. 4:19-22) could still get pregnant with Isaac? If a dead and dried up walking stick could grow lives, your womb could get fertilised to give birth because there's hope for tree that it would grow again after receiving the scent of water (Job 14:7-9).
Anything that represents a tree in your life will grow again no matter how many times circumstances have cut you down! Just like Lazarus was brought back to life, you'll live and not die before the fulfilment of your destiny. God will move in his glory and your rod will swallow the snakes of your enemies. I sense a very strong, strange and indescribable move of the glory of God that would judge the enemies of your destiny and produce great results in your life. Get ready for the sweeping moves of the Spirit. Hallelujah!
TODAY'S TAKE HOME:
Don't limit God to the size of your mind or thought processes. Stay sensitive and spiritually alert to new patterns of God's moves and align. Pray more in the spirit to stimulate and usher in God's move in your life.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, please move unhindered in all the dimensions of your graces in my life. Cause my hope to be renewed as I see You move in my life in ways beyond my imagination while settling all my long standing issues, in Jesus name.
