Words are powerful; they take on a life of their own once spoken. It makes no sense to think there're careless words or that you could be casual with some words. Scripture tells us whatever God spoke at creation, became, so much so that Adam's words shaped creation till date due to the nature of God in him, in that the names he called whatever animal and Eve became their names till date.
The scripture describes us as gods (Psalm 82: 6), and as He is in this world, so are we (1 John 4: 17). It would be logical therefore to conclude that our words are equally not ordinary, but spirit and life-giving; having the potential to shape destinies, determine outcomes like God’s at creation. What this implies, is whatever you say takes on a life of its own. If you say you're good, good manifests; if you project negativity, you'll get exactly whatever you say.
Words are not idle or casual. In the realm of the Spirit, jokes do not exist. Although God is humorous, His humour doesn't include negative words. Jesus was never careless with words, because He knew His words carry spirit and life. Yours does too. Therefore, infuse life as a life-giver into whatever you say. Make dead, decay and dying things come alive through the power of your words. Speak life to your health, projects, resources, relationships or career. Make dry bones live again. Yes! You can!!
