One of the tools subtly but strategically deployed in this generation is to make us passively become what we're not wired for (Judg. 16: 17). The internet, social media, and other digital outlets have been heavily weaponised to achieve this. Their soft appeal appears like nothing until you get completely addicted or destroyed. They play on your mind and give you a false form of sensuous pleasure with high self-esteem in return, so you'd hardly recognise that so much is at stake to self-sabotage you.
Regardless of whatever is going on, God's plan is for you to become! Become what? Become His child but much more than that, become all He's created you for and all you aspire to in life. It starts with your believe in, and receiving Jesus into your life. This very vital process establishes you in your dominion mandate (Gen. 1:28). Until you become, you shouldn't be doing! Do not prioritize doing things over becoming, for it is whom you become that defines the scope of what we should do.
