Description

The graciousness of God to mankind is demonstrated through His mercy. His mercy is like a covenant that cannot be broken. God's mercy cannot be counted and you don't have to do anything to qualify for it. God's mercy is rooted so deeply in His sovereignty, where He does all things according to the counsel of His will. That's why it makes no sense by all known human indices to see people we've known to be neckdeep in sin enjoying His forgiveness and the new life.

The justice of God should make a sinners reap the eternal reward of death. But His mercy upturns the verdict and declares all who embrace Christ as the righteousness of God (2 Cor. 5: 21). This accomplished feat extends to all other areas of our lives. Hence, we're not consumed by diseases, no evil comes near us because His mercy makes them fall at our right and left but can't touch us (Psa. 91: 7). God's mercy stops the hands of the wicked from all evil plans against us. His mercy surrounds us as a shield from the flying arrows of the enemy.

God's mercies makes us accepted in His beloved and makes us gain acceptance and access from others without so much imput from us. Mercy leaves the door wide open for us so we're never late. Mercy puts a stop on protocols, pulls us from the back and places us ahead of other competitors. Mercy overlooks errors worth penalising to qualify us for blessings. Does this mean mercy supports mediocrity? God forbid!
