Description

Everything owes their nature and characteristics to their source; a bird to its wings and air, a fish to its gill and fin, etc. If made to function outside their natural habitat, they struggle and die. To believe the lie of your existence is to trade off the characteristics that define your nature and functionality. Paul argues about God that, "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, ...and by him all things consist" (Colossians 1:16-17). Your source is God!

Paul talks of some people who refused to take hold of God as the true source, and contrasts them with those who've received directly from him, and says Christ's life supplies vitality into them, causing them to grow by the supernatural power of God (Colossians 2:19 TPT‬). In other words, you shortchange yourself and miss out of the supernatural experience when you refuse to align to the fact that God is your source!
