Season 2 Episode 8 Jayy reconnects with a former co worker from his GameStop days. In this podcast you will meet Dana who works in retail at Spencers gifts currently. We talk about how his work has been affected from the COVID-19 pandemic and the real reason he's here today to talk about our former employment at the local GameStop's our interactions with each other,co workers and customers.Both having prior's 5+ years experience at a video game retail store its only appropriate we talk about some of the hottest games during COVID-19 and how to obtain them. Games like Animal Crossing, Mortal Kombat, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us Pt2. (so potential spoiler alert If you haven't played those games). We then cover some of our experiences while working mentioning some funny pranks that have been played. Both our experiences ended differently but Dana and I's outlook on the company itself hasn't changed we still love GameStop this isn't one of those podcast who sits there and bashes trade ins or return policies we get it trust me, but to us its still a place where memories have been formed and buying games from the people you've been buying them from all the time has grown into a customer employee relationship trusting them whenever they throw out suggestions of video games because they know exactly what we like cause they sell it to us. I've worked at 3 Game Stop locations in Hanover alone 2 of which are demolished or has become a Batteries Plus Bulbs.I also worked at the Derby Street location for quiet some time which no longer exists either. Dana explains how scary it is seeing malls die out because of online shopping and the fears of what the future could hold. I've probably met over a hundred people through the company over the years and me and mostly all of my co workers got along so I'm opening up on the podcast to invite anyone who has formerly worked for the company to come on the podcast we'll do a power to the players part 2 and see if you have crazy stories that are appropriate and non incriminating to share. all I have to say to get you guys on is BIBLE GAME if you know then you know.
