Season 2 Episode 6 In this episode you'll hear a familiar face. Every one that's right returning from our Season 1 finale we reintroduce Ryan Thoresen Carson as this weekends guest. Our guest comes on this time not to recap a season worth of podcast with me but we get into all about what he does and what we should know when voting in both the primary and November Elections. Ive known Ryan for almost all of my life as we attended both elementary and high school together he is one of the smartest people I know and he's an activist and lobbyist something that I'm not too familiar with as far as what you read or god forbid you still watch the news and rely on some of that information, but its something that I think would be a great listen for my listeners regardless of our political views. We find out just how tough if it is to be an organizer but can be so rewarding to you not only mentally but watching things change in the right direction can be exciting. We here about his exact schedule as he explains to us how that can help. He takes us in the actual scene of the rallies he's attended whether it is for his job or he's on the street himself. Fighting for education funding is something that becomes clear in this podcast while I listen to Ryan which I think Is so cool because we started off our season with school staffers and the current COVID-19 pandemic. Ryan tells us the joy that has come out of his activism such as meeting people. TALK TO YOUR NEIGHBORS is something you should definitely take away from this podcast it seems to be something Ryan feels is so important especially in your communities giving us clear examples of how this can help if enough people can organize something or calling up the town officials or whomever in the town is in charge of that. We then dive into the voting portion of questions I have for Ryan which includes things like mail in voting, split decision voting, early voting, and the undecided voter. This November is going to be a huge presidential election and we really don't know what will happen with the COVID-19 Pandemic.
