Description

Every day, we are bombarded with numerous distractions, ranging from Zoom meetings that interrupt our work to a constant barrage of social media updates. By the end of the day, you may feel as if you've accomplished nothing and that your to-do list is now longer than it was at the start of the day. With all of these distractions and disruptions, it can be difficult to focus and complete tasks. And instead of being productive, you may feel disorganized and scattered. Completing a task can seem overwhelming or even impossible if you have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). There are, however, methods to help you stay focused and get things done. Take a look at your to-do list. Think about what will feel most comfortable. Then consider what will be the most difficult. Start with something that will feel simple, settle into a rhythm, and then gradually introduce the challenging material. Some people might prefer to decide which of their top three priorities to work on first. In this manner, the most crucial tasks are already finished, regardless of how the rest of the day goes. Make sure to focus on the tasks that make you feel the most accomplished first, whether you start out easy or hard. You'll have the drive to continue if you do that.
